Miralax users

For those of you that use Miralax:

Does it have a taste? Does it have a nasty texture? What is the best thing you've found to mix it in? (I can't stand any kind of apple juices). How soon does it work (I see the label says 1-3 days, that's a big span!)

Any other comments welcome!!

I am a nurse and several of my patients take it, it dissolves pretty good try not to use ice cold drinks its tasteless and odorless and its a white powder. its more for regularity then a quick fix. i found its great in coffee, hot tea because it  dissolves great! i have patients who like it in oj/cran/apple/cof/tea usually just whatever they drink. just mix it good...oh i found its about 24-36hrs for a BM

its much better than metamucil or the like because those hate to dissolve and they are flavored.

Disolves great- no problems in cold or hot things.  No taste unless you are adding more then recommended (like some places use it as colenscopy prep and you have tons of it).  I use it for my toddler who has constipation issues- no fuss or muss.  Within 24 hours she responses to the it.  She doesnt get cramps or other issues with it.  I put it in her sippy cup and shake it into her milk / juice / water.  It's a great product because it doesnt absorb into the system (not like some medications). 

 I have a capful in my coffee every day, I never know it's there, I just put it in after the coffee to mix it better - but I'm sure it would work well before too, just my little idiosyncrasy ;)
